Who this is for

  • Eligible home-service and professional-service businesses exploring Local Services Ads for the first time and needing a clear picture of account preparation, management work and lead handling.
  • Existing advertisers receiving unsuitable enquiries or inconsistent booking outcomes who need to review job types, service areas, answer coverage and the relationship between lead charges and profitable work.
  • Businesses already running Google Search campaigns that want to compare another acquisition channel using consistent definitions for qualified enquiries, booked appointments and completed jobs.

What we build and manage

Local Services Ads is available only for supported business categories and locations. We start by checking your actual business and account requirements, then scope the work around your current verification status and operating capacity.
  • A readiness review of business category, location and the current requirements shown in your Local Services account. We identify missing information and responsibilities before committing to a launch schedule.
  • Preparation support for accurate business, license, insurance and other requested information where applicable. Your business supplies authentic documents; Google and its verification providers make the approval decisions.
  • Business-profile consistency checks covering identity, phone destination, service descriptions and opening hours. We use your real business information and do not create fictitious locations or represent an approval that has not been granted.
  • A service-area and job-type plan based on work you perform, travel limits and available teams. For example, repair calls and installation estimates may require different intake expectations even when both fall within one trade.
  • Budget and bid-setting review aligned with your capacity and target economics. The proposal separates Google lead charges, agency management and any answering or software costs so the total program cost is understandable.
  • A lead-handling playbook that assigns ownership for calls, messages and follow-up. We check whether the receiving team can answer the promised hours and record why an enquiry did or did not become booked work.
  • Lead review and feedback using the options currently available in your account. We inspect available charge and credit records without promising that any particular lead will be refunded or that a feedback submission will result in a credit.
  • A combined operational report linking received enquiries to qualification, appointments and completed jobs where your records support it. Source-specific reporting helps compare Local Services Ads with Search advertising without assuming the two channels behave identically.

How we get started

  1. Step 1: Confirm eligibility and readiness

We review the business category, service location, profile access and outstanding account requirements. If Local Services Ads is not available or verification is incomplete, we explain the constraint before allocating implementation work or proposing media budgets.

  2. Step 2: Prepare the operating profile

We align job types, service areas, contact details and hours with the work your team can genuinely deliver. You supply and approve the business facts; we help organize the setup and track unresolved verification tasks.

  3. Step 3: Launch with response coverage

After the account is eligible to serve, we confirm budget settings and the lead-response workflow. The first review focuses on whether calls reach the correct team and whether staff record enough information to judge service fit and booking outcomes.

  4. Step 4: Review quality and capacity

We compare spend, received leads and completed work with your available capacity. Recommendations may involve tighter job selection, revised coverage, better intake or budget changes. A higher lead count is useful only when your team can handle appropriate demand.

How we measure progress

Platform lead counts and your own qualification decisions answer different questions. Both belong in the review.
  • Lead charges and credits

Recorded platform charges and any credits, reconciled with the billing period. Gross charges and credited amounts remain visible so the report does not hide how net cost was calculated.

  • Answer and response coverage

Whether enquiries reach a staffed destination and receive an appropriate response during the agreed operating hours. Missed calls and delayed follow-up are reviewed as operational issues.

  • Service-fit rate

Reviewed enquiries matching your offered work and service area. The report preserves specific rejection reasons instead of treating every unbooked lead as the same type of problem.

  • Enquiry-to-booking rate

Booked estimates, consultations or jobs divided by eligible enquiries, with the booking definition selected for your trade and duplicate contacts handled consistently.

  • Cost per completed job

Attributed channel costs divided by completed jobs where outcome data is available, allowing for the time between the original enquiry and the actual work.

Engagement models & scope

  • Setup or account review

A scoped fee for readiness assessment, account preparation, profile review and lead-handling setup. Outstanding verification requirements and work requiring your documents are identified in the proposal.

  • Ongoing management

A management fee for agreed account checks, budget review, lead feedback and outcome reporting. Google lead charges are separate, and no management fee purchases a placement, badge or approval.

Local Services Ads FAQs

No. Availability and screening depend on business category and location, and the required checks can change. We review your current account requirements rather than assuming that eligibility for another business or a neighboring area applies to yours.

No. Local Services Ads uses a business profile and lead-based charging, while Search campaigns use their own targeting, ads and bidding setup. They can complement each other, but we scope their management and compare business outcomes separately.

No. Google controls verification and ad serving. We can help prepare accurate information and manage the available account settings, but we cannot bypass screening, confer a badge or promise a ranking position. Your business remains responsible for the accuracy of its information.

No. A legitimate enquiry can remain chargeable even if it does not turn into work. Automated credit handling and available feedback options depend on Google's current rules and account eligibility. We review the records and feedback options without treating a sales loss as an automatic refund entitlement.

That decision depends on coverage, results and capacity. We start with separate reporting so you can see the kind of work each channel produces. An eligible Local Services account does not establish that it can replace all demand currently generated through Search campaigns.
